Israeli occupation authorities banned the leader of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Palestine Sheikh Raed Salah from exiting the occupied territories.
Israeli Minister Ayelet Shaked signed an order on Monday banning Sheikh Salah from exiting the occupied territories, according to analyst Muhammad Majadleh.
The order cited “concerns” that his exiting could “harm state security as he could meet with terrorist officials” or work to advance matters concerning the Islamic Movement.
Salah was released from prison in December after being jailed by occupation authorities for 17 months for “inciting terrorism.”
