Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem indicated that the cabinet approval of the 2022 draft budget law was unconstitutional, adding that the text and the items were not discussed by the ministers.
Addressing a Hezbollah ceremony on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory, Sheikh Qassem noted that the discussion during the government session was very shallow and did not include the basic and major items in the budget law.
Sheikh Qassem also called on the government to approve the financial recovery plan in order to be discussed by the parliament altogether with the state budget law.
Head of Hezbollah Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, meanwhile, underscored the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections, warning against the US interventions in the elections.
For his part, Deputy Chief of Hezbollah Executive Council Sheikh Ali Daamoush stressed rejection of increasing the state revenues at expense of the poor and middle-class people.
