The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that Hezbollah and Amal Movement autonomously decided to resume attending the government sessions.
In a press interview, Speaker Berri added that the decision came in light of the exacerbation of the socioeconomic conditions in the country, noting that Hezbollah and Amal Movement attitude towards judge Tarek Bitar has never changed.
Speaker Berri indicated that the fate and destiny of any country in which constitutions and laws are not applied will inevitably be collapse after collapse, adding, “There is no escape, no salvation, no rescue, and no protection for Lebanon except by adhering to the rules of the constitution, the law and the civil state.”
Hezbollah and Amal Movement announced on Saturday they both agree to attend the ministerial council sessions devoted to approve the state budge, the economic recovery plan, and all the decrees related to the improvement of the socioeconomic conditions of the Lebanese people.
