Iraq’s Supreme Court rejected appeals against the results of a parliamentary election on Monday, the chief judge said.
Judge Jassim Mohammad read out the ruling rejecting the appeal at the court headquarters in Baghdad.
Thousands of Iraqis protested against the court’s ruling and the manipulation of the parliamentary elections’ results, citing a US conspiracy to partition their country.
The parliamentary elections in Iraq was held on October 10, 2021, before the preliminary results started to appear few days later.
