Syrian air defenses destroyed on Saturday missiles launched by the Israeli warplanes near the Golan Heights.
A military source told SANA that nearly at 11.17 a.m., the Israeli enemy launched a number of missiles from the northern side of occupied Palestine, targeting some points in Damascus countryside.
The source said that the army air defenses repelled the missiles and shot down a number of them, adding that the aggression injured two soldiers and caused some material damages.
Later on Saturday, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria said the Syrian air defenses downed the Israeli missiles using Russian-made Buk-M2E systems.
According to Kulit, four F-16 aircraft of the Israeli Air Force launched eight Delilah guided missiles from the Golan Heights at a Damascus suburb, striking Syrian air defense facilities.
