The Lebanese, Syrian, and Jordanian Ministers of Energy announced on Thursday they reached an agreement on the final formula of supplying power to Lebanon via Syria.
In a press conference held in the Jordanian capital of Amman, the conferees stressed that the tripartite cooperation will secure power in Lebanon.
Lebanon’s, Jordan’s, Syria’s, and Egypt’s oil and energy ministers met on September 8 in Amman, approving a roadmap of providing Lebanon with the Egyptian gas in order to help the Lebanese authorities overcome the electricity crisis.
