Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that all attempts to defeat the Lebanese Resistance will be doomed to failure, just the Israeli war in 2006, the takfiri aggression in 2017, the ongoing US siege, and the internal seditions.

Addressing a graduation prom at Al-Batoul School, Sheikh Qassem indicated that the Lebanese Forces stirred the latest sedition by attacking a peaceful protest against the politicization of Beirut Port blast in Tayouneh area.

Hezbollah has put an end to Tayouneh sedition, but it is following up the investigations into the crime seriously, Sheikh Qassem said.

Sheikh Qassem added that the judicial investigator into Beirut blast, Tarek Al-Bitar, must recuse himself because he has caused a major trouble in the country.

Sheikh Qassem underscored that Hezbollah is looking forward to the parliamentary elections in 2022, expecting a crushing victory.

Seven martyrs and around 30 injured were reported during the armed attack carried out by the “Lebanese Forces” militiamen on the peaceful protestors in Tayouneh area on Thursday, October 14. The protesters were demonstrating against the politicized decisions of Al-Bitar.
