The Supreme Islamic Shiite Council renewed on Tuesday its solidarity with the families of the Beirut Port’s martyrs, demanding the revelation of the truth and the restoration of the real justice.
In a statement, the Council expressed keenness on justice and the rights of the victims, the wounded and those affected, highlighting the importance of inflicting the maximum penalty against those who were involved in this humanitarian catastrophe.
“Following up performance of the judge investigating this case, the Council has been realizing he is completely away from the course of justice and shows discretion and temperament that consecrated suspicion of him and his work.
The Council deplored the deafening silence of the higher judicial bodies, wondering about those who are correcting the course of correcting the course before it becomes too late.
The Council also warned those who are supposed to be entrusted with justice against the disastrous consequences of the rule of instincts, adoption of prejudices and imported sentences and the absence of fairness.
