The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Saturday its daily report in which it announced 626 new coronavirus cases, 600 of them for locals and 26 among the arrivals, raising total to 617662.
The report added that 16708 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 580346.
According to the report, 4 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8232.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
