President Michel Aoun called Friday on the government to convene and study the repercussions of the unavailability of the diesel and gasoline in the market in order to take the necessary measures.

President Aoun indicated that the BDL Governor is still rejecting to provide the subsidies and fund the oil imports on the basis of 3900 L.L. for every one dollar.

Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued a statement in which it reiterated PM-designate Hassan Diab’s rejection of holding a ministerial session because the Constitution bans the caretaker government from convening.
