The Lebanese foreign minister, Zeina Akar, instructed the permanent representative to the United Nations to denounce in the strongest terms and file a complaint against the latest Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon on August 4 & 6, 2021.

Akar stressed in her cable to Lebanon’s delegation that the complaint confirms the aggression is a blatant violation of the Lebanese sovereignty, UN Charter, international laws, and UNSC Resolutions, especially 1701.

In response to anonymous missile fire from Lebanon, the Israeli enemy bombed open areas in southern Lebanon on August 4, 2021. Then, when the Islamic Resistance responded to the Israeli aggression, the enemy bombarded again the vicinity of the occupied Shebaa Farms.
