Iran’s Foreign Ministry in a statement on Friday praised the resistance of Palestinian people especially that of the brave and patient people of Gaza against the brutal attacks of Zionist regime and congratulated the victory of the Palestinian resistance as well as the imposition of a new equation on the occupying regime in Jerusalem.

According to IRNA on Friday night, in this statement the ministry of foreign affairs reaffirmed its support for the struggles of the Palestinian people and commemorated the martyrs of Gaza and Palestine and announced: Thanks to the recent developments, the ties between Palestine different regions were revitalized, Palestine issue was mentioned again in the region and in the world,  the widespread popular support for the Palestinian resistance and the further scandal of the occupying Zionism were formed and Jerusalem was reemerged as the link between all Palestinians and the Islamic world.

Pointing to the horrific crimes committed by the Zionist regime in attacking residential areas and killing defenseless Palestinians, the foreign ministry called on the prosecution and trial of Israeli authorities as war criminals and recognizing Israel’s commitments as genocide and crimes against humanity.

At the end of the statement, the foreign ministry emphasized the need to increase the capabilities of the Palestinian people in self-defense and to develop the Palestinian deterrence force to prevent the recurrence of Israeli aggression and attacks.

The Islamic Republic announced its readiness to send humanitarian and medical assistance to Palestinian people and requested all relevant organizations and countries to provide the necessary assistance and facilities to Palestinian people due to the depth of the regime’s inhumane crimes in Gaza and the conditions resulting from the Corona outbreak in the region.
