Hamas’s Izzadin Al-Qassam Brigades on Thursday targeted an Israeli bus that had been carrying Israeli soldiers north of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam Brigades announced it had hit the bus with anti-tank missile near the so-called Zikim base. Al-Qassam subsequently launched a barrage of mortar shells towards the site where the bus was targeted on Thursday morning.
Israeli occupation military claimed the bus was empty, but said one soldier was ‘lightly’ injured in the attack.
Israeli occupation said 12 Israelis have been killed since May 10, when the Israeli aggression on Gaza started. They were killed in rockets fired by Palestinian Resistance factions based in Gaza.
However, the Resistance said the number of Israelis killed is more than announced by the occupation.
Al-Qassam and Al-Quds Brigades, the military wings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad Resistance movements, had repeatedly targeted Israeli vehicles with anti-tank missiles in those ten days, stressing that the attacks left Israelis soldiers killed.
Israeli occupation army said on Thursday that Palestinian Resistance fired 4,000 rockets at occupied territories since May 10.
