The Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc held on Thursday its regular meeting, chaired by MP Hajj Mohammad Raad, to discuss the latest developments, highlighting the noble position of the martyr General Qassem Suleimani.
In a statement issued after the meeting, the bloc pointed out that time would tell how much Iran had helped Lebanon and defended it against the hegemony and occupation forces.
“It is our duty to thank and express loyalty to General Qassem Suleimani who represents a noble symbol of struggle.”
Commenting on the recent clashes between the policemen and pro-Trump rioters in Washington, the statement considered that what happened exposed the allegedly ‘democratic’ system in the United States.
The bloc called on the Lebanese authorities to sustain its subsidies in a way that covers the basic economic commodities and maintain security in Bekaa province.
Regarding the anti-coronavirus lockdown in Lebanon, the bloc stressed that the closure should not be a subject of experiment and urged all the citizens to abide by the preventive measures.
The bloc also called for re-activating the process of creating the new government which can secure the national interests and cope with the current crisis.
