The Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq confirmed on Monday that the investigations into the crime of assassinating the Deputy Chief of the Popular Mobilization Forces Committee, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the IRGC’s Quds Force Commander General Qassem Suleimani, and their companions have reached advanced stages, adding that a judicial decision will be issued in the coming days against the culprits involved in the crime.
The Council’s spokesman, Haidar Al-Nouri, indicated that the competent court has gathered evidence and listened to statements of the claimants as well as testimonies of witnesses who are security servicemen and employees at Baghdad airport.
Al-Nouri added that the court will issue the judicial decision against the culprits during the few upcoming days.
