The caretaker prime minister Hassan Diab stressed that coping with the current crisis in Lebanon requires creating an efficient government that is expected to carry out a set of reforms.
“There must be a speedy creation of a new government that is capable of addressing the various crises and resuming talks with the International Monetary Fund.”
Diab chaired two consecutive meetings for the launching of the Donor Coordination Platform for countries and bodies contributing to help Lebanon overcome the port disaster, in the presence of Ministers Zeina Akar and Charbel Wehbe.
