The regime court in Bahrain sentenced six people on Wednesday to life in prison after accusing them plotting to kill police officers with explosives.
The six, two of whom were tried in absentia, were found guilty of attempted murder and possession of explosives in a village near Manama in May 2015, regime prosecutors claimed in a statement reported by AFP.
It is worth noting that the Bahraini regime authorities have resorted to torture in order to extract confessions from the prisoners during the ‘trial’ sessions.
The Bahraini regime has been violently confronting the public will reflected by the peaceful revolution which erupted in 2011 and demanded the authorities to sustain freedom, democracy and the human rights in the country.
