French President Emmanuel Macron and the United Nations, will host a donor conference for Lebanon via video-link, to help rebuild Beirut after this week’s massive blast.
The conference will start at 14:00 (12:00 GMT), and the French presidency said it would constitute “a step of necessity and hope for the country’s future.”
Lebanon has been in mourning as Beirut was ravaged by the two massive blasts which rocked its port, killing at least 150 people and injuring more than 5,000 others. Dozens have been also still missing.
