Syrian army cleared on Wednesday many areas from the terrorist groups across several provinces, inflicting heavy losses upon them in material and personnel.
In Quneitra, a military source announced that the army restored Al-Naqqar Western Hill located to the east of Trinja in the northern countryside of the southern Quneitra province after conducting special operations in the area.
The operations, which were carried out in cooperation with the popular defense groups during the past few hours, resulted in the death of many terrorists and the destruction of their weapons and ammunition.
In Daraa, army units killed a number of militants of al-Nusra Front terrorist group in the southern countryside, and destroyed a hideout for terrorist groups, a number of vehicles and a control station in Daraa al- Balad.
In Hama, national military killed more than 50 terrorists and destroyed a command center, an ammunition depot and 6 cars, some of which were equipped with machine guns in the northern countryside of the province.
In Deir Ezzor, more than 30 terrorists of the so-called ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL) takfiri group were killed in operations carried out by army units in the city and its countryside.
Moreover, army units carried out operations and precise bombardments against ISIL positions in the neighborhoods of al-Rushdiyeh and al-Sinaa and in al-Jafra village to the east of the city, killing more than 20 terrorists were killed and ammunition were destroyed.
The army personnel defending Deir Ezzor military airport clashed with a terrorist group affiliated to ISIL along the eastern barricade of the airport, killing ten of its members.
