The Lebanese government decided Tuesday to extend the coronavirus lockdown till May 24, allowing the businesses mentioned in the 5-phase easing procedure to be run under the set conditions.
In a regular session at Baabda Palace, the government approved the telecommunication minister to regain the cellular sector, asking him to prepare for a new bid to operate the two companies.
The government also decided to hold a session on Thursday to discuss the crisis of prices hike and all the socioeconomic conditions in order to take the suitable decisions in this regard.
