Hezbollah Military Media Center reported that an ISIL commander along with his group members surrendered and handed themselves in to the Lebanese Resistance movement.
The center released the photo of ISIL commander Ahmad Wahid Al-Abed, who handed himself in along with his group members to Hezbollah in Zamrani in Western Qalamoun.
Hezbollah announced on Saturday the start of a joint operation with the Syrian army to liberate Syria’s Western Qalamoun from ISIL terrorists. The operation, dubbed “If You Revert, We too Will Revert” coincides with Lebanese army offensive to cleanse outskirts of Ras Baalbek and Qaa towns near the border of Syria.
