A Nepal army plane crashed Tuesday, killing the pilot and injuring the two other crew members on board, a local official said. The Poland-made Skytruck overturned and caught fire after it overshot the runway after attempting to land, said Devendra Lamichanne, chief district officer for Bajura where the accident occurred.
At least five people were killed in fierce clashes on Friday between rival armed groups in the Libyan capital Tripoli, seat of a UN-backed unity government, a hospital official said. An official at a Tripoli hospital gave a “provisional” toll of five dead and several wounded, including civilians.
