Israeli Force Advances toward Outskirts of Deir Mimas near a Newly Established Lebanese Army Position but Subsequently Withdraws

Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that a hostile force advanced before noon today toward the outskirts of the town of Deir Mimas, near a newly established position set up by the Lebanese Army at the town’s edge. The Lebanese Army sent reinforcements from its position in Bourj El Mlouk toward the newly established post on the outskirts of Deir Mimas.

Later, Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that the Lebanese Army withdrew from the newly established position in Deir Mimas as a hostile force advanced toward the area and conducted raids and searches of the surrounding homes.

By the afternoon, the Israeli enemy army left the point it had advanced to at the entrance of Deir Mimas and returned to deploy at its position at Tal Al-Nahas, while the Lebanese Army remains stationed along the main road in Bourj El Mlouk.

Three citizens, meanwhile, were injured in a Zionist artillery bombardment of Shaqra town, South Lebanon.

The Israeli artillery targeted also the towns of Al-Mansouri and Beit Leef in South Lebanon.
