As part of search and field survey operations in areas that came under attack, rescue teams from the “Islamic Health Authority – Civil Defense” [Bint Jbeil Sector] were able to recover an injured person and the remains of a number of martyrs in the Wadi al-Salouqi area, following a report from a local shepherd.

Details of the recovery of the remains

The story began when a shepherd reported the presence of two motorcycles in the area. Immediately upon receiving the report, Civil Defense teams from the Islamic Health Authority, accompanied by a patrol from the Lebanese Army, headed to the specified location to conduct a field inspection. They found destruction at the site, and the search operations yielded the following results:

First motorcycle: Human remains belonging to two martyrs were found in its vicinity.
Second motorcycle: Remains belonging to a third martyr were found near it.

Field sources confirmed that the relevant authorities will conduct DNA testing on the recovered remains to identify the martyrs and officially notify their families.

Injured person found during tracking operations

In a notable development during the survey operations, the Islamic Health Authority team noticed traces of blood in the vicinity of the targeted site. Based on this, the team followed the blood trail, which led them to a nearby house.

Upon entering the house, they found the citizen Mohammad Ali Hassan injured. It was evident that he had spent a long period inside the house suffering from his injuries, with limited amounts of water and some food found next to him.

Immediately after finding him, ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured person, Mohammad Ali Hassan, and he was urgently transported to a hospital in the area. Medical sources reported that the injured man is currently receiving intensive medical care, and that his injury is old and had been sustained a long time before he was found and rescued.

The Islamic Health Authority teams continue their field efforts to ensure a full survey of all targeted areas and to search for any missing or injured persons who may still be trapped.
