The Lebanese President Michel Aoun held on Thursday at Baaabda Palace the binding parliamentary consultations to nominate a new prime minister around 50 days after caretaker premier Saad Hariri submitted his resignation.
The final results of the consultations showed that 69 members of the parliament have nominated Hasan Diab, 13 of others have voted for Nawwaf Salam, and 43 MPs have not endorsed anyone for PM.
