The Lebanese Presidency sources were quoted as saying that President Michel Aoun was still studying PM Saad Hariri’s resignation letter and would not ask him to act in caretaker capacity tonight.

Hariri officially submitted resignation to President Aoun during a short visit to Baabda Palace after he had announced his step in a public address shortly earlier.
