Israeli occupation forces shot and killed on Friday evening a Palestinian young man in northern West Bank, according to official medical sources.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that a Palestinian was shot by occupation soldiers’ gunfire at an Israeli army roadblock south of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.
According to Wafa news agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent said occupation forces did not allow its ambulances to reach the man, who was left on the ground bleeding.
He was taken away by the Israeli occupation army and later declared dead, the news agency added.
Palestinian sources identified the martyr as Raad Majed Mohammad Al-Bahri, in his mid-20s.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the Israeli army forces ‘thwarted’ an alleged stabbing attempt carried out by a Palestinian who was holding a knife and tried to attack the soldiers stationed at an Israeli army roadblock south of the town of Tulkarem in northern West Bank.
The sources added that the soldiers had immediately opened fire and killed that young man and no one among the soldiers was injured.
