Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is to deliver a speech on Saturday.
The address is to take place at 11:00 a.m., at the end of a march marking Imam Hussein’s Arbaeen in the Bekaa town of Baalbeck.
Sayyed Nasrallah is to tackle latest developments, especially the local affairs, Hezbollah’s Media Relations announced.
Lebanon has been braced for mass rallies in several areas, in protest of imposing new taxes on Lebanese citizens.
Lebanese protesters took to streets on Thursday, forcing Telecommunication Minister Mohammad Chukair to backtrack on tax imposed by the government on internet-based phone calls over services like WhatsApp.
Thursday’s biggest protest took place in Beirut, where thousands gathered in Riad al-Solh Square near the Grand Serail. Other protests took place in several areas across the country, including Tripoli, Bekaa, Sidon and Tyre.
Protests widened on Friday, reaching more areas across Beirut, Dahiyeh, Mount Lebanon, south and north.
