The Lebanese President General Michel Aoun Wednesday expressed regret over the US sanctions on two of Hezbollah members of the parliament, stressing he would follow up on the issue with the competent authorities in the United States.

For his part, the premier Saad Hariri confirmed that the US sanctions would not affect the parliamentary and governmental activity in Lebanon, hoping that the crisis ends soon.
