14 Israeli soldiers were injured as fire broke out at a military prison in the occupied territories’ center.

Israeli media said the fire broke out at military prison 4 in Tzrifin on Friday.

One soldier was moderately injured and 13 others were lightly hurt from smoke inhalation. They were taken to the nearby Asaf HaRofeh hospital.

Ynet reported that the fire was due to an electrical appliance in the kitchen malfunctioning, noting that the incident was under investigation.
