Yemeni revolutionary forces fired cruise missile on Saudi’s Abha airport, causing suspension of flights.
Yemen’s Al-Massirah TV channel reported that the rocketry force in the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees fired a cruise missile at Abha airport.
The TV quoted a military source as saying that the missile accurately hit its target in the airport.
The Saudi-led coalition first declined to confirm the attack, but later on Wednesday acknowledged that Abha airport was subjected to missile attack by Yemeni forces.
This is the second time that the Yemeni allied forces use this type of missiles since the start of the Saudi-led aggression on the Arab impoverished country. Yemeni forces fired cruise missile at Abu Dhabi’s Barakah nuclear power plant.
Wednesday’s attack comes two days after Yemeni drones attacked Saudi’s King Khaled air base in Asir’s Khamis Mushait, causing damage and casualties.
Yemeni Army on Tuesday announced that Monday’s attack targeted advanced radars and control rooms in the King Khaled air base, threatening the Saudi-led coalition of surprises.
