Deputy Chief of Bahrain’s main opposition group, Al-Wefaq, lashed out at the Al Khalifa regime, saying it is contributing to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause through hosting the economic conference which is considered the economic aspect of US President Donald Trump’s so-called’ deal of the century’.
Sheikh Hussein Daihi said the Bahraini regime is contributing to liquidation of the Palestinian cause “in favor of the Zionist entity and according to Israeli conditions through hosting the US-Zionist conference” which will take place in Manama on June 25-26.
“It’s not the first time that the Bahraini regime stabs the Muslim and Arab nation in the back and through the central cause which is Palestine. The regime has used to rush to normalize ties with the Zionist entity,” Sheikh Daihi said.
Meanwhile, Al-Wefaq official stressed that the conference is a “failed step to establish a new Middle East” according to the US standards.
“The masks of those who have been fooling with Palestinian cause and the Palestinians’ sufferings have been taken off. Their intentions and schemes aimed at liquidating the central cause are now clear.”
The White House announced earlier on Sunday it will unveil the first phase of its so-called Mideast peace plan at the conference in Manama, saying it “will focus on economic benefits that could be reaped if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolved.”
