The Lebanese President Michel Aoun received on Wednesday US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, David Satterfield, discussing with him the latest developments.

House Speaker Nabih Berri also met with Satterfield, as talks between them reportedly focused on the demarcation of sea and land borders in an atmosphere of openness and positivity, NNA reported.

Prime minister Saad Hariri and foreign minister Gebran Bassil also received Satterfield, as the discussions tackled various issues.
