The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that the Zionist occupation authorities have licensed a company to exploit the gas resources in a disputable area on the maritime border with the occupied Palestine.
Berri warned Thursday,”Israel may deplete Lebanon’s potential offshore oil and gas reserves after the Zionist entity awarded exploration licenses near Lebanon’s Block 9.”
Berri added he raised the issue during a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte earlier in the day.
According to Lebanese officials, Nobel Company which obtained the exploration license from the Zionist authorities, have to launch similar investments on Lebanon’s side of the maritime border in order to save the country’s gas resources from the Israeli infringement.
Lebanon who has a newly-formed government is expected to take decisive measures to protect its seashore wealth from the Zionist wicked schemes, benefiting from the national unity and the golden defense formula, army-people-resistance.
