The US-led coalition attacked one of the Syrian Army’s positions in the southeast countryside of Deir Ezzor, leaving casualties, Syrian military source said.
SANA news agency quoted the military source as saying that the US-led coalition on Sunday targeted one of the Syrian military positions in the town of Al-Hiri, southeast of Al-Bu Kamal city, leaving a number of martyrs and wounding other people.
The new aggression comes three days after that the Syrian army liberated an additional area in the western Badiya, according to the agency.
The US-led coalition has been targeting the military positions in a desperate attempt to raise the collapsed morale of the terrorist organizations due to the achievements of the Syrian army.
SANA meanwhile cited reports confirming Washington’s various kinds of support to ISIL terrorist group, in a bid to “prevent its collapse and invest it to keep its forces illegally in the Syrian territory and steal the economic resources in the eastern region.”
