The Islamic Republic of Iran underlined on Monday using the resistance economy policies in a bid to counter the US sanctions.
Spokesman for the Iranian government, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, said that enough preparations have been made to counter the impact of the US sanctions.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting of ‘Resistance Economy Command Headquarters’, Nobakht said that the meeting focused on using the resistance economy polices to prevent the potential effect of the US sanctions on 200 ongoing projects.
US President Donald Trump announced last month that Washington would pull out of Iran nuclear deal and reinstate nuclear sanctions on Iran.
This is while most world powers, including Russia, China, and the European Union have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of world peace and security.
