Israeli daily, Maariv said that latest developments in the Middle East revived the discussion about a possible alliance between the Zionist entity and so-called ‘moderate’ Arab states.
According to the paper, the alliance issue had been repeatedly raised, but noted that there are many obstacles that stand in the face of such alliance.
“We should know which countries will take part in such alliance,” the daily said wondering how much this alliance will last or at least be stable.
Maariv pointed out to the “unexpected” relations which were between some Arab states and the Zionist entity over the years.
On the other hand, the Israeli daily noted that Saudi Arabia has adopted a different political stance towards the Zionist entity, saying: “Saudi is now leading a political approach aimed at total Arabic recognition of Israel.”
Maariv meanwhile, said that Tel Aviv must utilize from the current condition and strengthen its trade, economic and military alliances with ‘moderate’ Arab states.
