A plane crashed into the sea during the takeoff from the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport near Abidjan, Ivory Coast at around 8:30 am local time.
According to the preliminary reports it might be a cargo plane of a company that was carrying equipment for the French army, Koaci.com reports. Some media suggested it might be an Antonov An-26 cargo plane. According to Reuters, it was a propeller-engine cargo plane.
There is no official information on casualties yet. However, Reuters reports citing witnesses that at least four people were killed.
