Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the only way to halt the battle on the Lebanese borders is maintaining a complete ceasefire in Gaza.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Sheikh Qassem maintained that the border battle is aimed at supporting the Palestinian people against the Zionist aggression on Gaza, and will stop whenever the war on the Strip ends.
His eminence indicated that if the Israeli enemy reduces its military operations against Gaza without an official agreement, the situation of Lebanon’s border battle will be less conspicuous.
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that Hezbollah will not give an answer about how it will react to a blurred calm in Gaza.
If ‘Israel’ launches a limited war on Gaza, Hezbollah response will be reciprocal, according to Sheikh Qassem.
Hezbollah has been attacking the Israeli occupation sites and settlements since the start of the Zionist war on Gaza, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
