The Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Sarea announced on Wednesday that the navy, rocketry and UAV divisions affiliated with the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out six military operations in support of the Palestinian people in face of the Israeli crimes against the civilians in Rafah, south of Gaza.
General Sarea detailed the operations, as follows:
– Three military operations in the Red Sea targeted the ships of LAAX, which was directly hit and greatly damaged, MOREA and Sealady.
“The three operations were carried out with a number of naval and ballistic missiles and drones, leaving direct casualties.”
– The Armed Forces carried out two military operations targeting the American ships ALBA and Maersk Hartford in the Arabian Sea with a number of missiles and drones.
– The sixth military operation targeted MINERVA ANTONIA ship in the Mediterranean Sea with a number of winged missiles.
“All the aforementioned ships were targeted for violating the decision to ban access to the ports of occupied Palestine.”
General Sarea stressed that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to strike all the ships which deal with the Israeli entity in response to the ongoing Zionist crimes against the civilians in Gaza.
General Sarea hailed the valiant Palestinian resistance and the support fronts in Lebanon and Iraq, confirming that the Yemeni armed forces will continue its military operations until the Zionist aggression on Gaza stops, and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
In another statement, General Sarea announced that the air defense force of the Yemeni Armed Forces shot down an MQ9 unmanned aerial vehicle.
“The operation was carried out with a locally-made surface-to-air missile, and footages of the operation will be published shortly,” General Sarea added, “The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that the taking down of the plane came just days after another plane of its type was shot down in the airspace of Al-Bayda Governorate.”
“It is the sixth UAV that has been shot down so far during the battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
