Yemen’s Armed Forces announced, in a statement Brigadier General Yahya Sarea, that the Yemeni navy carried out a missile attack on the US ship, Lewis B Puller, while sailing in the Gulf of Aden.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated that the operation came in support of the Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression on our country, with the help of Allah Almighty.
Among the tasks of this ship is to provide logistical support to the American forces participating in the aggression against our country, the statement added.
The targeting operation is part of the military measures taken by the Yemeni Armed Forces in defense of precious Yemen and as a confirmation of the decision to support the oppressed Palestinian people, according to the statement.
The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to implement the decision to prevent “Israeli” navigation or any ships heading to the occupied ports of Palestine in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the statement affirmed.
