Iran said on Monday it was not a matter of chance that Saudi Arabia and the Zionist entity share the same anti-Iran stance, noting that the two regimes are trying to compensate their failures in the region.
“The parallelism between the positions of the Saudi foreign minister and the Israeli war minister on Iran is not coincidental. Many instances of evidence indicate coordination between the two regimes in regional cases,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said.
“Both regimes think that in order to compensate for their numerous failures and defeats in the region, they should provoke the international atmosphere against Iran,” the Iranian official said said.
“Undoubtedly, the similar rhetoric used by these two regimes confronting the oppressed people of the region, is indicative of their painful frustration,” he added.
Qasemi also expressed regret over the fact that the Zionist minister is openly counting on cooperation from an Islamic country to promote its anti-Iranian policies.
“The recent absurd and fake terrorism charges by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, regarding those who sponsor terrorists and support ISIL (Takfiri group), are not going to make the world forget about all the ideological, financial, training and intelligence affiliations between the Saudi Regime and Takfiri terrorists” the foreign ministry spokesman said.
