The Islamic Resistance issued late Monday a statement, announcing its fighters had struck a Merkava tank at the Israeli border site of Dhahira.
What follows is the full text of the statement:
In the name of Allah
“Permission [to fight] has been granted to those who are being fought because they were wronged, and indeed Allah is competent to give them victory.” (Quran 22:39)
Shortly before 6:00 PM today, Monday, a group from the Islamic Resistance, named after martyr Ali Kamel Mohsen, attacked the Israeli site of Dhahira and targeted a Merkava tank with guided missiles, inflicting a direct hit.
And victory is only from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.
