Former US President Donald Trump has publicly praised the intelligence of Hezbollah, calling them “very smart,” while simultaneously labeling the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as a “jerk.”
In a campaign rally in West Palm Beach, Trump stated that he read “all of Biden’s security people” who were concerned about a possible attack from Hezbollah towards ‘Israel’ from the north, which Trump seemed to find interesting.
He went on to say that ‘Israeli national defense minister’ seemed to be sweating over the scenario, declaring, “I hope Hezbollah doesn’t attack us from the north,” only for an attack to follow from that very direction.
Trump went on to suggest that ‘Israel’ was not anticipating the weekend Hamas attack, warning them that they are potentially fighting a very big force, perhaps Iran.
Trump urged ‘Israel’ to “straighten it out” and strengthen themselves up, emphasizing the need for caution in their pronouncements, as “they’re vicious and they’re smart…And boy, are they vicious, because nobody’s ever seen the kind of sight that we’ve seen.”
Trump: I’ll Never Forget Bibi Let Us Down
In his speech, Trump took a shot at Netanyahu for backtracking from assisting the US in assassinating Iran’s top security and intelligence commander, Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani in 2020.
Trump said he received a call shortly beforehand to let him know that ‘Israel’ would not take part in the drone strike but the US proceeded anyway. “But I’ll never forget,” Trump said, adding, “I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down. That was a very terrible thing.”
Whoa. Trump just attacked Israel and said that he’ll “never forget” that they didn’t participate in the Soleimani operation. He said Israel “let us down” and needs to “straighten it out” and called them weak, saying they should “strengthen themselves up.” pic.twitter.com/pMrWLt8ojz

General Suleimani and his Iraqi trenchmate Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) were targeted along with their companions on January 3, 2020, in a terrorist drone strike authorized by Trump near Baghdad International Airport.
