Al-Manar’s correspondent at the Lebanese-Palestinian border reported clashes near homes in the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon on Monday.
The Israeli enemy in the region launched a barrage of missiles toward this vicinity.
In the Galilee region along the border with Lebanon, settlers have been advised to remain indoor due to concerns about armed individuals infiltrating the area.
A video circulating on social media shows artillery shelling and a gunfight on the borders of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon’s western sector.
According to the National News Agency, there has been an expansion in the Israeli artillery shelling, with the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab town in the Bint Jbeil district being targeted. Additionally, there have been reports of frequent low-altitude flights of spy planes in the southern skies.
The Israeli military confirmed the deployment of troops in response to a suspected infiltration from Lebanon. Local radio stations indicated that this incident seemed to have occurred in the central part of the border with Lebanon. The military issued a statement, stating, “A report was received regarding the infiltration of a number of suspects into Israeli territory from Lebanese territory. Israeli soldiers are deployed in the area.”
The Israeli media reported that six Zionist soldiers were injured in the attack.
