French Special Presidential Envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian met on Friday with the House Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain Al-Tineh, concluding his visit to Lebanon during which he met with the senior officials.
According to the reports, Speaker Berri’s call for dialogue is still valid and supported by the French initiative.
Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Friday received a phone call from Le Drian, during which they discussed the outcome of the talks and meetings that Le Drian held in Beirut over a period of three days.
During the call, they underlined the positive outcome of the discussions about the near election of a new president for the republic.
