The Zionist occupation army claimed that one missile was fired Thursday from Lebanon at the Palestinian territories, knowing that the Israeli military radio indicated investigations into missile fire have been ongoing.
The Zionist media had reported the missile fire, but quoted military sources as saying that the border explosion resulted from a mine, not a rocket.

Later on, the occupation army announced it bombed targets in Lebanon in response to the missile fire.
UNIFIL Command issued a statement in which it called on all parties to maintain calm and avoid escalation, highlighting the regional tensions dominating the region.
