The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri indicated on Tuesday that he is very satisfied with the positive developments of the presidential file.
Speaker Berri’s visitors quoted him as reiterating that the meeting between Head of Marada Movement Sleiman Frangiyeh and the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari last week was excellent and formed a basis for a good relation between the two sides.
Speaker Berri stressed that he would not call on the parliament to convene in order to elect a new president before the various blocs settle their nominations.
On the other hand, Speaker Berri maintained that Head of the Lebanese Forces militia makes remarks aimed at entailing his answer, adding that he may never respond to Samir Geagea.
