Hezbollah dispatched on Sunday the first aid convoy to quake-hit Syria, sending 23 trucks loaded with foodstuffs and medical as well as logistical supplies.
Head of Hezbollah Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine attended Ahsura Square in Beirut’s Dahieh where his eminence supervised the convoy’s setting off.
Sayyed Safieddine stressed that Syria has always supported Lebanon and its Resistance, adding that aiding the Syrian brethren to cope with the catastrophe is dutiful.
Sayyed Safieddine noted that the West has repeatedly proved its immoral attitudes towards the humanitarian causes, adding that Syria is facing a moral quake is addition to the natural one.
