Hezbollah Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed condolences for the victims of the earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria, calling for international cooperation to address the aftermath of the disaster.
In an interview with Al-Manar TV on Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem stated that Hezbollah sent medical aid to help the Syrian people affected by the earthquake, recognizing their dire need for support.
He also criticized the US sanctions and the support of some Arab countries, claiming that they are obstructing relief and rescue efforts and violating basic humanitarian principles.

Finally, Sheikh Qassem affirmed Hezbollah’s support for the Syrian and Turkish people and governments in their efforts to overcome this tragedy.
